Once foundational data quality is achieved, the next phase is activation: putting that data to work across platforms and products in a consistent way. Lee emphasizes the importance of ongoing data monitoring and capturing missing insights to improve the overall data ecosystem.
“When presenting data to users, it’s essential that everyone is data literate. They need to understand why they’re seeing it, what it’s telling them, and most importantly, what action to take next to improve business outcomes,” he adds.
The difference between organizations that can interpret their data and those that cannot is stark. Successful companies leverage their insights to drive outcomes, regardless of whether they’re managing billions of rows or just tens of thousands.
